Jialuo Lake
Jialuo Lake is one of Taiwan’s most beautiful overnight camping hikes. Hidden in the mountains of Yilan, the area is made up of around 20 alpine lakes surrounded by pine forest, misty ridges and open campsites. The main lake sits at around 2,000m and is a memorable place to camp overnight.
Taiwan Adventures can arrange a private 2-day Jialuo Lake hiking tour with English-speaking guides, transport from Taipei or Taoyuan Airport, tents, meals, route planning and safety support. The hike is challenging, with a long climb, steep sections, ropes and around 1,200m of elevation gain, so it is best for fit hikers with some previous hiking experience.
